Dr. Michael Bernstein received his B.A. from Brooklyn College and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Bernstein is the Past President of the New York State Chiropractic Association's Nassau County Chapter and has been a member of its Board of Directors for several years. Dr. Bernstein was the first chiropractor in New York State to be issued hospital privileges as an Emergency Room doctor, where he was able to provide chiropractic care to injured patients while still in the emergency room. Dr. Bernstein has been published in the American Public Health Association's Journal and is a frequent guest on several local radio talk shows where he has been featured as the spinal health expert. One of Dr. Bernstein's most prized awards is from the American Red Cross for recognition of his efforts while treating hundreds of rescue workers at Ground Zero.
Dr. Bernstein has an extensive post-graduate background that has allowed him to study numerous chiropractic techniques, diagnostic tools, and rehabilitative therapies which enable him to provide the most state-of-the-art care available to each patient he treats.
